The English love it, and the Ritz Carlton hotels devote time daily to it the world over! Tea time is not just for the formal and stuffy anymore. Put your freshest face forward, and lighten up your afternoon with fresh teas, biscuits, and jam! Summon your French press and add to its list of magical powers—it’s not just for coffee anymore. This spring make your motto, “Try me.” Throw some fresh herbs into the press and customize a warm, soothing tea flavored with fresh fruits, spices, sweetened with natural honeys and syrups in a snap. This class shows us all of the options for custom mixing fresh herbal tea blends, what herbal flavors complement others, and gives us room to experiment to our palette’s desires! We’ll be enhancing tea time by learning how to make fresh sweet biscuits and jams from the very first step. You’ll walk away with new ideas and new skills (and jam)! With spring’s bounty as our toys, springtime has become our playground. It’s high time for tea time Ger-Nis style, the flavorful, simply, fresh and tasty way! Let’s enjoy it!

Director of Ger-Nis International, Nissa Pierson thoroughly enjoys a good break, and there’s nothing like a good tea time for a break. Her love of fresh herbs has set her on a maze of pursuits, one being a longtime custom drink mixer using fresh herbs! Nissa believes in making great use of seasonal items which sometimes finds itself in seasonal, local jams to enjoy on fresh biscuits!
