Pierson began her food journey in 2005, opening Ger-Nis International, a fair-trade and organic fruit, vegetable and herb distribution. To further her desire to teach others about healthy living and eating, Pierson opened the Culinary & Herb center in early 2010, specializing in a wide range of recreational cooking and educational classes for adults and children, promoting healthy eating and living habits through hands on and lecture style classroom environments. Nissa began to find the stressful times of owning an extremely chaotic international distribution center on top of starting a new business with the culinary center take over and all of her healthy and natural tendencies were thrown out the window. She got sick and tired of blaming Ger-Nis for her bad habits. She has returned to her natural ways of giving her body the attention it deserves so she can better manage her business and enjoy her life! She’s an avid surfer, kickboxer, and all around lover of animals, when she’s not at Ger-Nis! Contact Nissa
