This summer the Ger-Nis Summer Social Club is making it a mission to hit up all of the buzzed about food spots we’ve been dying to visit along with our fellow foodies in the Ger-Nis social circle! The much anticipated foodie cousin of the Brooklyn Flea has finally launched, and we’ve only been hearing wonderful things about it! From all the food activity Brooklyn has been enjoying as of late, it’s safe to say this market is like no other in the country, and it’s by the extremely eye appealing East River to boot! The market boasts a Greenmarket of approximately 20 farmers, as well as packaged and prepared foods, purveyors from across the NYC landscape and the broader region, and other food-related vendors (kitchen utensils, housewares, and so on), totaling out at over 100 vendors. We figure there are a lot of you like us that want their curiosities to turn into true fulfillments. We’ll be featuring Radish in our market escapades for their excellent contributions to the world of prepared foods, using Greenmarket ingredients, favoring sensible to go ware and filling us up with some delicious tasting food! This is where we choose to lunch and meet and from there we move around getting our curiosities tickled! When all of us foodies meet up raring to socialize and enjoy a meal, you’ll get to know more about Ger-Nis, and we are excited to learn the same about you and the new market!
*Ger-Nis Summer Social Club will meet in front of the Radish Stand at Smorgasburg at 12:00 PM
