The contest is limited to 30 BBQ competitors battling out for the grand prize of Ger-Nis pit master in 4 special categories: The Vegetable Grill, Fruit-Based BBQ, The Ethnic BBQ and Spicy Hot BBQ! This isn’t a BBQ contest about whose meat tastes better, BBQ is bigger than that! Our acclaimed panel of judges includes the likes of Cathy Erway from Not Eating Out in NY and special guest judges to be determined! Anyone is welcome to enter the contest to see who has what it takes to be master of the grilling ceremonies! The grand prize winner receives a private cooking party at Ger-Nis Culinary & Herb Center for up to 15 friends valued at $800! Runners-up will receive other fun prizes and the satisfaction that their grilled goods were tasty enough to place in a foodie-ridden contest! Ger-Nis will provide herbal iced tea and some BBQ sides for attendees! It’s a party in the name of summer BBQ! Everyone’s welcome to come enjoy each other’s company, throw goods on the grill and have an excellent time cooking outdoors! This is the good stuff summer is built on!
