Brownies play a prominent role in classic All-American desserts as a chocolate lover’s dream! Tonight we’re going to kick it up a notch with modernized versions of the old standby. Whether you’re a cake-like brownie or a fudgy, gooey brownie kind of person, you’ve got to succumb to the fact that they’re all delicious and sweet-tooth satisfying. Lucky for us, there are only 5 key ingredients in making brownies—chocolate, sugar, flour, butter and eggs, whatever else you decide to throw into the mix is up to you—spices, nuts, vanilla, caramel and even black beans! Brownie connoisseurs will argue that the crust is the most coveted brownie bite, while others believe the piece smack dab in the center of the pan holds the magic. Again, the beauty is in how you decide. Get ready to dive in.
