Not a fan of the typical American brunch offerings that take a walk on the sweet, maply, bready side, Managing Director of Ger-Nis International, Nissa Pierson leans toward her Latin roots which drive her to crave savory and spicy foods when she starts her day. She seeks to show others out there like her how to kick their mornings up a notch! Always looking to avoid processed foods full of mystery ingredients we can’t identify nor pronounce, loaded with bad fats and high in sodium, she is an expert when it comes to whipping up healthy, real meals that rely on the use of ingredients that leave nothing to the imagination. In addition to running Ger-Nis, Nissa is a long time culinary instructor specializing in fresh herbs. She enjoys spice (in her food and in her life), good conversation and debates, kickboxing, the ocean and surfing, and submersing herself in the food and culture of the world. Contact Nissa
