Many changes are taking shape at Ger-Nis Culinary & Herb Center this year and one of the most exciting changes is the introduction of community supper clubs. These community supper clubs are social gatherings of our community members where we not only cook and eat together but we get to contribute to the meal by learning to make certain elements of the meal in our own homes by tutorial videos and recipes provided ahead of time. We are starting them in one of our new locations, High Falls and slowly implementing them in cities near you! The second community supper will be hosted by our own herbal guru, Nissa Pierson ( Managing Director of Ger-Nis Culinary & Herb Center). This special night will feature an al fresco meal in the garden and be supported by goods from local farmers. An herbal garden cocktail bar will be the featured learn ahead and at home sector, where you will have access to tutorials and recipes on making herbal syrups, summer fruit shrubs, mixers and garden garnishes! So don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn and to engage with your community members!
