Homemade pretzels provide us with the hearty brawn we so often crave during the cold, winter months. In this class, we’ll divulge the history of pretzels while enjoying our own homemade artisanal root beer. We’ll be making sweet and savory pretzels and a cheese sauce to accompany the New York  style pretzel. Kids gain hands-on experience making pretzels while twisting dough, and get to explore the many different ways to liven up traditional pretzels. Come do “the twist” as we devour our chewy salty snacks good enough to fuel your kids for the winter.

Recipes: New York Street Pretzels & Cheese Sauce,  Chocolate Nutty Pretzel Sticks, Root Beer Syrup Sparklers

Class Type:  Hands on Middle School Kids
