Managing Director of Ger-Nis Culinary & Herb Center, Nissa Pierson, is always looking how to avoid people purchasing processed foods that are filled with ingredients we cannot pronounce, loaded with bad fats and high in sodium. A lover of easy, healthy breakfast, she long ago took on the task of preparing tasty oats and dried fruit dishes she could enjoy all week long both for flavor and for the added energy they allowed her, making an always hectic work week just a little simpler. In addition to running Ger-Nis Nissa is a long time culinary instructor specializing in fresh herbs. Besides being a passionate teacher of fresh herbs, organics and fair-trade, she enjoys spice (in her food and in her life), good conversation and debates,  the ocean and  submersing herself in the food and culture of the world.
