Organic, Fair Trade & Educational Classes & Events
We believe that we have an obligation to raise community awareness about the impacts our eating and living choices have on our bodies, our families, our communities, our global neighbors and our planet, education about where our food comes from allows our community to make better choices that are not just healthier for our bodies, but for our communities and the world beyond us. Advocates for Fair Trade and organic eating and living, Ger-Nis offers classes that not only incorporate these products, but answer the question, what is Fair Trade? Why is it crucial in our food world? Why organic? What does it mean? By sharing our world wide spectrum of farmers and artisans, we can help bring our community the opportunity to become more socially aware of and responsible for the food they eat and the choices they make, while being able to understand the impact one individual has on the planet as a whole. We believe that through education come better choices.
